A 29-year-old hospital owner in Ghaziabad has been arrested for allegedly duping Rs 20 lakh from a gynaecologist and blackmailing her with objectionable photos. The accused, Dr Hasin, mixed sedatives in her drink, took compromising pictures, and demanded more money. He was apprehended and sent to judicial custody.
Ramlila preparations in GB Nagar and Ghaziabad have begun with bhoomi pujas and artist selections. Scheduled from October 3 to 13, the events will feature artists from Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan. Celebrations will end with Dussehra on October 12 followed by Bharat Milan on October 13.
