Man alleges harassment by in-laws, hangs self to death
Rajkot: A man committed suicide within three months of his marriage, alleging harassment by his in-laws. Jigar Solanki (31), a tailor who lived in Rail Nagar area of Rajkot, married to Sonam in April. After marriage, they started living in a flat near his parents and an unmarried brother. On Friday morning, Jigar committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his house using a dupatta of his wife.

His brother Mehul found a suicide note, alleging that Jigar’s father-in-law was demanding money and threatening him to frame him and his family in a case of dowry and domestic violence. police booked Jigar’s father-in-law Ramesh Parmar for abetment of suicide. tnn
