MUMBAI: Mumbai Traffic Police have issued traffic restrictions in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Monday between 2pm and 9pm for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new Bombay high court building at Govt Colony ground in Bandra (East).
Traffic will be closed in both directions on New English School Road, which connects Ramkrishna Paramhansa Marg and J L Shirsekar Marg, except for event-related vehicles.
Motorists will be redirected via Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir Road, instead.
DCP (central) Samadhan Pawar stated, "As the ceremony will be attended by Supreme Court and Bombay high court judges as well as VVIPs, traffic police have planned alternative routes and no-entry zones to facilitate smooth vehicular movement."
