No arrest so far in boy’s thrashing case
Patna: Even two days after the brutal thrashing of a minor boy by tying his legs with an iron chain and his hands with a scarf, Begusarai police was yet to make any arrest in the case till Monday. An FIR was filed by the victim’s family against five persons.
According to Begusarai SP, Manish, the incident had occurred at Sonoma village under Bakhri police station area of Begusarai on September 21.

The victim was identified as Dilkhush Kumar (14), son of Narayan Pal. His family claimed that the boy was beaten after he broke a mahogany plant in the garden of Sumitra Devi, wife of Arjun Pal of the same village. “The suspects are on the run and further action is being taken in this matter,” the SP said.
“Except, Sumitra, the other accused (her children) are minors. They fled the village after the incident. Raids are being carried out to nab them,” said Bakhri SHO, Vikash Kumar Rai.
