Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will hold elections for two seats on Tuesday — one for the board of directors and one for govt school teachers.
Across the state, 58 polling stations have been set up, with 6,310 voters eligible to cast their votes for the board of directors seat and 3,200 voters for the govt school teachers' seat.
Priyavadan Korat and J V Patel are in a direct contest for the board of directors seat, while four candidates compete for the govt school teachers' seat.
The board started the process to elect nine members after issuing a notification.
