CM orders to restructure schemes for minorities
Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed the officials of the minority welfare department to restructure the schemes provided to Muslim minority groups.
In a review meeting with the officials, Naidu asked them to restore the schemes implemented during the previous regime of TDP and also take steps to restructure the schemes in line with the promises made in the election manifesto.

Naidu ordered the completion of pending works related to the 447 crore sanctioned under the Prime Minister's Jan Vikas programme. Naidu also directed the completion of Shadikhanas and other constructions that were approved and partially built during the previous TDP govt. He suggested cancelling and re-evaluating the works that have not yet started. The CM further directed to initiate steps to set up Noor Bhasha Corporation as promised in the election manifesto. When the officials informed that the Haj House at Kadapa, sanctioned during the previous TDP regime with an estimated cost of 24 crore, was left unfinished after the completion of 80% of works, Naidu suggested completing the building as soon as possible.
The officials explained that the Guntur Christian Bhavan is also left unfinished after the completion of 50% of works with Rs. 16 crore sanctioned by the previous TDP govt.
