Cong to set up stall on game zone fire at Janmashtami fair
Rajkot: The Janmashtami fair in Rajkot, which spans five days, is a significant draw for the people of Saurashtra.
The Congress party here wants to set up a stall at the fair to highlight the suffering of the victims of the TRP Game Zone fire tragedy that claimed 27 lives.
According to estimates, the five-day fair organized in Rajkot every year attracts approximately 10 lakh visitors per day.

The Congress claimed that while the govt sets up stalls to showcase their achievements at the fair, they want a stall to expose the government’s failures during several recent tragedies across Gujarat that resulted in the loss of several lives.
Congress leader Indranil Rajguru, a former MLA, said, “Even after the demand from the victims and Rajkot people voluntarily joining the bandh for the justice of victims, the BJP govt is shielding its senior officers and politicians in the game zone fire tragedy.” He further alleged that based on previous incidents in Gujarat, the small employees who are arrested will be released after some time, leading people to lose hope for justice in the game zone fire tragedy.

Rajguru expressed concern and said, “This government wants to make (M D) Sagathiya the main accused to cover for other people; that’s our worry. The main culprits of the game zone fire tragedy are still out. The govt and bureaucrats are trying their best so that people forget this incident.”
