Absconding for six years, man arrested in joint operation
Indore: In a joint operation with Tejaji Nagar police, the crime branch of Indore on Thursday nabbed an absconding man accused in a loot case.
The accused carried a reward of Rs 5000 on his arrest and was on the run for the past six years.
Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said that they received information that Nitesh Kanjar, 32, a resident of Dhani Ghati in Hatpipliya of Dewas, was spotted in the city.

Acting on this tip, a joint operation by the crime branch and Tejaji Nagar police station led to the arrest of accused. Police said that the accused has records of theft, robbery, planning dacoity and possessing illegal weapons registered against him at various police stations.
The man was on the run for the past six years and was finally arrested.
Further legal proceedings are being conducted by Tejaji Nagar police station based on the investigation. He was produced before the court and taken on remand for questioning.
