Back in June this year,
Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan had shared a candid moment as they had a chance meeting at the entrance of the Parliament. Both now MPs, once shared the frame in Bollywood movie Miley Na Miley Hum, which released in 2011. Fans were surprised to see their candid camaraderie and the photos soon went viral.
Recently, Kangana was asked about the viral pictures and she laughed, acknowledging Chirag as a good friend.
She humorously told Aaj Tak, “Leave Parliament out of it. It is the temple of our Constitution. I represent my constituency there.” She went on to explain, "Chirag ko main bohat pehle sey jaanti hun, wo mera accha dost hai, bechare ney ek do baar hansa diye mujhe lekin aap log to peeche hi pad gaye, ab wo bhi rasta badalkar chala jaata hai. (Chirag and I have known each other for a long time. He is a very good friend of mine. Now even Chirag changes his path when he sees me."
Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua on location: Janvi to confess her feelings to Chirag?
Earlier, during an ANI interview, Chirag had shed light on their friendship and stated, "Only good thing that happened to me after trying my luck in acting is that Kangana and I became really good friends. That’s one good thing we carried from that time. And I was really looking forward to meet Kangana in the parliament because the past three years, I was so busy in my own life that I had lost my connection with her.”
Meanwhile, Kangana is all set to star as the lead in 'Emergency'. The film also features the late Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade, Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman in significant roles. As the film gears up for its theatrical release, mark your calendars for September 6.
