Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met delegations from the Dehra assembly Constituency of Kangra district at his official residence, Oak Over, Shimla, on Monday.
The delegations apprised the CM of their demands and grievances. Sukhu assured the delegations that relevant measures would be taken to address their issues. He said that Dehra was set to become a model assembly constituency in the state in the matter of development.
The state govt is committed to providing all possible assistance to resolve problems being faced by residents and ensure systematic development in Dehra, he added.
Sukhu said MLA’s office would be opened in Dehra shortly, which will facilitate in solving the local issues of the people more efficiently.
Kamlesh Thakur, Dehra MLA and wife of Sukhu, who was also present on the occasion, said that she would visit Dehra on July 26 to discuss and plan the development model for Dehra. She said that her priority would be to address the needs and issues of the people of Dehra.
