I had savings of Rs 4 lakh, which they took on July 2. Now I am running from pillar to post for justice. They had beaten me as well before taking the money. Apart from this, I had a property in Delhi from which I was getting rent, but my son took Rs 33 lakh from the tenants in lieu of that property. Now, I don’t even have money to consume poison.” Meanwhile, SSP Meerut was unavailable to comment on the matter. Krishna Chaudhary
