Although some members of the broadcasting team had reached the city on Sunday, a few more members also arrived this evening.
The players will be transported from Chakeri Airport to their designated accommodation at Hotel Landmark by bus. They will then take rest and enjoy the hospitality provided by the hotel and the host, UPCA. It is possible that a couple of players might visit Green Park to assess the condition of the centre square.
As per the schedule, the two teams will head to the ground for net practice, stretching exercises, and acclimatization on Wednesday and Thursday, with sessions in both the morning and evening. On Monday, the visiting Bangladeshi team will practise in the morning, while the Indian team will utilize the stadium in the evening. The following day, the order will be reversed, with the Indian team using the ground in the morning session and the visiting team arriving in the evening.

UPCA has plans to invite around 2,000 school students each day to witness the test match throughout the five-day event. According to venue director Sanjay Kapoor, the invited students will be provided with complimentary breakfast and potable water. Interested schools may contact the coordinators Kaushal Kumar Singh (Mob: 63942,49075), Brajveer Singh (Mob: 7985972455), and Krishna Kumar Dubey (Mob: 9838855752) in writing on their school letterhead. Furthermore, the schools are requested to instruct their students to refrain from bringing plastic goods or bottles.
In the meantime, the police department conducted a rehearsal at Green Park in the afternoon session. Senior police officials briefed the personnel about their duties, dos, and don'ts. Approximately one thousand cops participated in this rehearsal.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Ravindra Kumar and his team inspected the road route from Chakeri Airport to Hotel Landmark. They issued necessary instructions at crucial crossings and points to ensure smooth movement of traffic and the buses carrying the two teams.
