BHOPAL: Three members of a family, including a couple and their young child, were found dead in the Seoni Malwa area of Narmadapuram district, Madhya Pradesh. The deceased have been identified as Sandeep Lauvanshi (30), his 5-year-old son Takshit Lauvanshi and his wife Pooja Lauvanshi.
Initially, the bodies of Sandeep and Takshit were found near the railway track in Banapura.
Shortly after, police were alerted to the finding of Pooja Lauvanshi’s body, which was hanging in their home located in Neecha Bazaar, also in Banapura.
The exact cause of death remains unclear, and an investigation is underway. The police have prepared Panchnamas for the bodies of Sandeep and Takshit, which have been sent to the Seoni Malwa Community Health Center for post-mortem examination.
SP Gur Karan Singh informed TOI that the deaths are suspected to be linked to a marital dispute. It is believed that Sandeep may have jumped in front of a moving train with his son, while Pooja reportedly hanged herself at home. Their surviving daughter is currently with relatives. The police are investigating further to confirm the circumstances and motives behind this tragic incident.
Additional details indicate that Sandeep's elder father had recently passed away in the village, just four days before the incident. Following this, Sandeep and Pooja had returned to Seoni Malwa a day before the tragedy. The investigation continues as authorities seek to clarify the reasons behind this devastating case.
