Kashi admin gears up for police recruitment exam
Varanasi: To ensure fair and successful conduct of the constable civil police recruitment exam-2023, organised by the Uttar Pradesh Indian and Promotion Board, Lucknow, district magistrate S Rajalingam, joint police commissioner K Ajilrason and additional police commissioner S Chinnappa conducted a comprehensive briefing for sector and static magistrates, centre administrators, assistant center administrators and those in charge of centres (administration and police), along with other exam-related officials at the Police Lines auditorium on Saturday.

The DM emphasized that the examination will be conducted stringently in accordance with the rules and conditions delineated in the instruction booklet. He exhorted everyone to execute duties with a collaborative spirit to guarantee an error-free exam and cautioned that even the most minor mistake will be inexcusable. Any irregularity will result in severe repercussions with personal accountability. He mentioned that the new exam-related law encompasses strict penalties and fines for those involved in malpractices. The DM urged everyone to peruse meticulously the instruction booklet provided by the recruitment board, which contains all necessary directives for officials involved in the exam. No minor error will be tolerated under any circumstances.
The additional police commissioner stated that the exam will be conducted in two shifts across 80 centres. He underscored the importance of proper frisking of candidates to ensure no one entered the exam hall with prohibited items. ADM City Alok Kumar Verma and additional police deputy commissioner Mamta Rani Chaudhary provided detailed information on various facets of the exam.
