Rajnath hits out at state govt over safety of women
Udaipur: Union defence minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday addressed a public rally in Kotra in Udaipur where he lambasted the Gehlot government for failing to protect the “mothers and daughters” in the state. “Shame on such a government,” he said, adding, “Such a government has no right to remain in power.”
He said that the situation in Rajasthan was so bad that even a woman MLA considered herself as unsafe.

“If an MLA is unsafe, how can the common people of Rajasthan be safe?” he asked.
He also mentioned several incidents of murder and paper leaks in the state and said that the law-and-order situation had deteriorated to such an extent that tailor Kanhaiya Lal was murdered for no reason.
“Gehlot only tried to save his chair. Instead of developing the state, they have been fighting among themselves,” he said. Singh was addressing the public meeting in support of BJP candidate Nanalal Ahari in Kherwara and Babulal Kharadi in Jhadol.

Union defence minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the Indian National Army (INA) marker in Singapore.
