Kangana warned of defamation suit
Shimla: Himachal Pradesh public works department (PWD) minister Vikramaditya Singh on Monday warned BJP MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, of filing a defamation suit against her if she fails to corroborate her statement that the Congress govt in the state was on a loan spree and diverting central and state funds to Sonia Gandhi.
The cabinet minister said that Kangana should either provide proof or withdraw her accusation by apologising to the senior leader and former national president of the Congress.

“The Mandi MP is making baseless statements. There cannot be a more ridiculous statement than this that the central grants and state’s development funds are being given to Sonia Gandhi,” he added.
The PWD minister said this shows Kangana’s “intellectual bankruptcy” and also that she is not much educated, which is time and again reflected in her statements. tnn
