Meghalaya Strawberry Fest from April 5-13

Shillong: Meghalaya is set to host a Strawberry Festival from April 5 to April 13 in a bid to promote agritourism. “The harvest season for strawberry has begun and the vibrant strawberry fields in the villages of Syntung and Nohron in East Khasi Hills, Umktieh and Sohliya in Ri Bhoi, Baladinggre, Darechikgre, Durakantragre in West Garo Hills will organise the Strawberry Festival,” an official statement said.The other attractions will include strawberry picking at the farms, wine tasting, jam making, etc., reports Manosh Das
