BCA student accuses Galiywad man of molestation, harassment

Rajkot: A 19-year-old BCA student has filed a complaint against a resident of Galiyawad village, accusing him of molestation and harassment. She alleged that he molested and harassed her to get her to have a relationship with him over the past three months.
A complaint of molestation and harassment has been filed against Sameer Sida under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the B Division police station in Junagadh.
According to her complaint, Sida approached her near her home three months ago, demanding a relationship. Despite her refusal, he continued to follow and harass her by grabbing her hand against her will. She told the police that when she was alone at home one day, Sida managed to enter the house, pushed her to the ground and molested her. He allegedly fled when she screamed for help.
The student also claimed that Sida got her mobile number somehow and harassed her through WhatsApp calls and Instagram messages. The mental distress caused her to lose her appetite and become physically weak, requiring hospitalization in a private hospital 15 days ago. While she was in the hospital, Sida allegedly sent her threatening messages, threatening to kill her and her brother if she did not comply with his demands.
