Cong slams CM for‘frequent flip-flops’
Patna: A day after chief minister Nitish Kumar described his earlier decision to align with the Lalu Prasad-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) as a “mistake” that he said won’t be repeated, state Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh on Sunday took a swipe at the former, accusing him of having a habit of switching sides.
Talking to reporters, Singh said instead of reiterating that he would not leave the NDA, the CM should focus on improving the law and order scenario in the state, working for people’s welfare and ending their misery.

“The CM keeps on saying he won’t switch sides again, but the truth remains otherwise,” Singh said. “Yahi bol-bol ke to aate-jate rahte hain” (He has kept on swapping alliances by repeating the same lines),” he added.
Reacting to CM’s remarks, RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav said, “Who has extended an invitation to join our alliance? You must remember that it is because of your flip-flops that the JD(U) has become the number three party in the state.”
