Mangaluru: The film festival ‘Film Sobhan’ organised by Mandd Sobhann, Shaktinagar, inaugurated on Friday, will run till Sept 14. It is organised to celebrate Konkani Manyata Diwas, and was inaugurated on Aug 23.
In Mangaluru, at the Bharat Cinemas, there will be two shows daily at 4 pm and 7 pm, showcasing a total of 30 films over 23 days. Among these, 25 are feature films and five are short films.
Additionally, there will be special screenings of two films for children. The festival will feature films from Karnataka and Goa, both old and new, as well as from various communities such as Hindu, Christian, GSB, and RSB. tnn
