Kolhapur: Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, while speaking at a rally in Kagal town of Kolhapur on Sunday, appealed to people to vote Mahayuti back to power to ensure the welfare schemes for women and farmers continue for the next five years.
Ajit Pawar said Mahayuti suffered losses in the Lok Sabha election because of the fake narrative spread by the Maha Vikas Aghadi.

In his speech at Ichalkaranji earlier on Sunday, Ajit Pawar read out the institutions set up by the Mahayuti govt for various communities. He also said people of different communities should live together. This was in the context the violence that took place at Pusesawali in Satara and Vishalgad in Kolhapur.
Pawar said he was the first to reach out to the violence-hit minority community. “We took a decision to join the govt to fulfil the promises given made to people of our constituencies. After the change in govt, the sanctioned funds were cancelled. We had no choice but to join govt in order to fulfil the aspirations of the people. We were not hungry for power,” Pawar said at Kagal.
At Ichalkaranji, Pawar said: “Our CM is awake till 4am and I wake up at 5am. It means our govt is awake 24 hours to address the concerns of the people.”
