DIMAPUR: The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) urged the business community in Kohima town to extend solidarity to the public rally organised by Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) by keeping their shops and establishments shut during the
protest.
KCCI also appealed to the business community to attend the rally at the Old MLA Hostel junction, Phoolbari, in Kohima at 11am on Tuesday.
In a statement, KCCI said the AYO called the rally in protest against illegal taxation, harassment, intimidation and death threats by NSCN (K) to the
common people.
It also expressed shock over the recent death threat issued by the group to K Rulho, the proprietor of KKB Rulho, a member of the KCCI.
