CM backed criminalization of police force, must quit: Satheesan

Kochi: Chief minister should resign as he supported criminalization of the police force in the state, said opposition leader VD Satheesan on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the district-level protest gatherings organized by block committees of Congress, against the unholy alliance of RSS-CPM and the criminalization of police force, Satheesan said that the disruption of Thrissur Pooram was premeditated and meticulously planned.The blueprint of the plan was created by ADGP MR Ajith Kumar, who is also in charge of the investigation.
There is an unholy alliance between CPM and BJP in Kerala, he alleged. He questioned why the CPM leaders met a BJP organizational leader. He pointed out that Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials did not proceed with the investigation on the Karuvannur scam after the Lok Sabha elections.
Satheesan accused the govt of attempting to divide votes through the ‘Kafir screenshot' controversy in Vadakara. He alleged that govt was hiding the Hema Committee report for four-and-a-half years to protect the accused in the sexual abuse cases.
