CM invites Amit Shah for Sept 17 event
Hyderabad: Chief minister Revanth Reddy has invited four Union ministersAmit Shah, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay — to participate in the state govt-organised ‘Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam’ at Public Gardens on Sept 17.
The CM wrote letters to the four Union ministers on Friday, extending the invitation. “The state govt has decided to celebrate Sept 17, a day on which Hyderabad state was merged into the Indian union in 1948, marking the beginning of democratic governance in Telangana, as Praja Palana Dinotsavam, a day officially designated by the state govt to honour and celebrate democratic governance in Telangana,” he said in his invitation.
