Sikkim woman, found unconscious in SE Delhi, dies

NEW DELHI: Police have found the body of a woman from Sikkim near Astha Kunj Park in southeast Delhi on July 9.
“We got a PCR call from a security guard who said that a woman was lying unconscious,” a police source said.
A police team rushed to the spot and found a 30-year-old woman lying there.
A senior officer said a woman constable and other staff reached the park and found the woman in an unconscious state.She was taken to AIIMS, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. No visible injuries were found on her body, the officer said.
Police have launched a probe to identify the woman, who had been staying in Delhi for the past few months. “An inquest proceeding under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita is being done,” a source said.
