Chennai: Fabid Ahmed’s (2-6 and 55) all-round performance went in vain as table-toppers Mahe Megalo Strikers suffered a 24-run defeat at the hands of Karaikal Kniights in the Pondicherry Premier League at the CAP Ground in Puducherry on Saturday. In another match, opener R Ragupathy (58 off 39 balls; 4x4, 3x6) powered White Town Giants to a five-wicket win over the bottom-placed Yanam Royals.
