Bhopal: A 70-year-old man, who was injured after being hit by a truck in Khajuri area, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on Thursday.
According to the police, the deceased, Bhagwat Singh, 70, a resident of Rasulia Pathar village, was a farmer. He was returning from Bairagarh with a relative on the night of Sept 8. At around 10:30 pm, while crossing the road near Pipliya Jod, a speeding truck hit him.
Bhagwat Singh sustained serious injuries in the accident and was admitted to a private hospital in Bhainsakhedi for treatment.
He died while undergoing treatment on Thursday night. Police have registered a case against the accused truck driver.
