Bhopal/Jabalpur: The father of a girl student who passed the class 12th exam with 91 percent marks from the MP Board of Secondary Education has challenged the policy of the board not to allow revaluation of answer sheets of students. Dileep Pandey, father of Disha Pandey, who passed the class 12th exam from the govt multipurpose higher secondary school in Satna, in his petition said that his daughter secured 91 percent marks in the class 12th exam 2024. She has got 76 marks in Sanskrit, far less than she expected. She had applied for a copy of her marksheet and recalculation of marks. Following recalculation, her marks were increased by 2.
The girl again applied for the model answer sheet from the board. Her answers in the exam were very much in line with the answers given in the model answer sheet. Subsequently, she applied for revaluation but she was informed that revaluation of answer sheets is not allowed.
Following initial arguments, the court of Justice Vishal Dhagat issued notices to the principal secretary, school education, secretary, MP Board of Secondary Education, district education officer, Satna, and principal of the school in which the girl studied. Advocate Vishal Baghel appeared in the case for the petitioner.
