7-year-old girl molested in Teela Jamalpura

Bhopal: A 7-year-old girl was allegedly molested in Teela Jamalpura area around two months ago. The incident came to light on Monday evening.
Police said that the survivor is a student of class 3. Her mother stated in her complaint that on July 4, the survivor had gone to purchase chocolate from a nearby grocery shop. She returned home crying and narrated that a man grabbed her while she was returning and molested her.The family members went out to search for the accused, but they could not find him. The matter was not reported to the police at that time.
Police said that on Monday evening, the accused, identified as Mohammed Saeed (32), a resident of Berasia, reached Teela Jamalpura again to collect donations. The girl recognised him and told her family members about it. The family members nabbed the accused and handed him over to the police.
Teela Jamalpura police registered a molestation case against the accused under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act and started investigations.
