3 friends on yatra die as tractor-trolley hits bike in Mathura
Agra: Three kanwariyas riding a motorcycle died in a collision with a tractor-trolley in Mathura on Monday. The accident occurred near Nagla Parsoti area that lies under the jurisdiction of Sureer police station.
The three on a bike suffered head injuries and died on the spot. None of them was wearing a helmet, a police personnel said.
Inspector Sanjeev Kant Mishra said the kanwariyas — Manav, 18, Ved Prakash, 21, and Naresh Kumar, 20 — were friends and hailed from Bijau village.

The group had set out on Sunday evening with 22 other devotees for dak kanwad.
They collected Gangajal and reached the Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple in Vrindavan on Monday morning. After completing the Jalabhishek ritual, they were returning home riding on a motorcycle when they collided with a tractor-trolley in Nagla Parsauti. They died at the spot, police said.
“The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and CCTV cameras in the area are being examined. So far, no complaint has been received,” the inspector said.
According to family members, Ved Prakash had an engineering diploma and was employed at a company in Gurugram. Manav worked at a private company in Palwal, while Naresh was pursuing graduation.
