Skull missing from 85yo man’s grave in Bijnor
Bijnor: An 85-year-old man's grave was dug up in a cemetery in Khari village, Bijnor, under Haldaur police station, and the skull was found missing on Monday.
Police said the grave was identified as belonging to Qari Saifur Rahman, who had passed away on July 25. Police believe the head was severed for occult purposes. Ritualistic items such as banana leaves, a gourd with inscriptions, and animal feathers were found at the site and seized for investigation.
The deceased's nephew, Ata-Ur-Rahman, said, "I went to the graveyard on Monday morning and found the grave disturbed.
