Prakash Belawadi will direct an English adaptation of S L Bhyrappa's Parva, a Kannada novel. Belawadi expressed the difficulty in translating the book to English due to the differences in language and emotion. The play will be performed at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall in Bengaluru from October 19 to 22. Belawadi hopes that the adaptation will bring the story to a wider audience and help preserve the cultural significance of the book.
