Joju George was injured at the 'Thug Life' set while performing a risky stunt for the film. Joju George was supposed to jump from a helicopter for an action scene in 'Thug Life', but the actor's plan went wrong and he landed improperly. Joju George suffered a minor injury, and was immediately taken to the hospital.
The medical reports then revealed that it was a minor fracture, and doctors asked the actor to take a few days of bed rest. But Joju George decided to continue the shoot for 'Thug Life' in Pondicherry, and he went to complete the sequence with the injured leg. Joju George didn't wish to extend the film shoot because of his injury.
'Thug Life' is one of the highly anticipated films as it marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam after 35 years. Reported to be a periodic drama, the mega-budget drama also has Silambarasan, Trisha, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Abhirami, and Ashok Selvan among others, while the film music is taken care of by AR Rahman.
