Television's blue-eyed boy Gurmeet, made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt's 2015 horror film 'Khamoshiyan' which also starred Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi in significant roles. What gained him more fame was the negative character that he essayed in the film as his fans had only seen him essaying the roles of protagonists on the small screen.
Gurmeet, who bagged the role of Lord Ram on the small screen due to his eyes, married his co-star Debina Bonnerjee, who played the role of Sita, his reel life wife in the same show. The power couple tied the knot in 2011 and since then have participated in several couple reality shows. His love for his wife has also fetched him the nickname of 'patnivrata' from his friends.
