The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to issue the UGC NET admit card 2024 for June session by tonight, informed UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar via a social media platform. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 admit card will be released on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The exam will be conducted on June 18 for a total of 83 subjects in OMR-based mode.

UGC NET Admit Card 2024: Steps to Download


Candidates will need their login credentials to download UGC NET admit card. Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Locate and click on the link titled ‘UGC NET June 2024 admit card’.
Step 3 :Enter your registration number and date of birth. The UGC NET June 2024 admit card will be displayed on your screen.
Step 4: Verify the details on the admit card.
Step 5: Download and print the hall ticket.
It is a must for students to carry the hall ticket to the exam centre on the day of examination, or else, entry will be barred.
The UGC NET 2024 scores will be utilized to assess the eligibility of Indian citizens for the roles of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), as well as for entrance into PhD programs in universities and colleges. The University Grants Commission has announced that PhD admissions via the NET will commence from the academic year 2024-25. Several institutions, including Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU), have declared their acceptance of NET scores for PhD admissions at their campuses.
